Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine has become one of my most favored books. I was not only captivated and drawn in by the fluent and elegant writing style, but also by each character.
This novel takes you into the life of a recluse, someone who has never been loved properly, who lost someone very close to her and was passed around in foster homes. Eleanor is constantly judged for her appearance and her approach at life until Raymond and Sam come along. She is then shown happiness, what it means to be cared for, to have a friend and best of all that she is worthy of love. A heartwarming novel that, at times, will have you smiling. We all need to remember before passing judgement that we have no idea what someone is going through.
If you finish this book and have not also fallen in love with Eleanor, do you even have a heart? :p
