Lisa Jewell is officially one of my favorite authors. All her books I’ve read are enjoyable, great character development, balanced, a little twisted and I can never put them down. Even if it’s not “Omg that was crazy” kind of good, they are still good.
Then She Was Gone was another audible book I tried and it had me yelling in my car at a “holy shit” moment. Even though it was predictable for the most part, some things weren’t for as why I yelled. I cant help but think the parts that were predictable were meant to distract you from the the big moment, at least it did for me.
I left this book feeling satisfied with all the characters but 1. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for Floyd. Why? Well I’ll leave that for you to find out because I don’t want to spoil this one.
